Ever wonder how new Indy polish lines get popular?  By word of mouth, of course.  My good friend Jody knew just how she was going to get the word out about her new start up polish line, SoFlaJo.  She chose a few of her favorite bloggers and sent them each a sample of her new polishes to review.  I was one of the lucky ones and I cannot wait to show you this new beauty.



This is just one of SoFlaJo’s eight new polishes from The Year of the Dragon collection called 3 of Pentacles.  Jody describes 3 of Pentacles as a copper glitter that shifts from lilac to red to silver to green/blue depending on your basecoat.  I am afraid my photos don’t do her description justice.



Jody recommends layering The Year of the Dragon polishes over dark colors.  I chose to layer 3 of Pentacles over Color Club’s Blue-Topia from the Back to Boho B collection which ois a very deep blue jelly polish.  Because I thought it would set off the purple hue I saw in the bottle.  This polish is truly a spectacle.  The micro glitter is fabulous and fills the polish nicely and is exactly as Jody describes.  I wore this combination for over a week and as you can see in the picture below, it held up quite nicely even though I am quite rough on my nails and hands.
