NOTD: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Ruby Rush

I recently won two polishes from the new Sally Hansen fall line from Amber over at My Nail Graffiti.  Winning was a total surprise, especially since the polishes weren’t originally part of the giveaway.  Make sure you go and visit her blog.  Her reviews and manicures are absolutely beautiful.

The Sally Hansen brand has been around a long long time. I guess it is what you would call a “high end drug store polish.”  I usually shy away from purchasing Sally Hansen because I think it is a little pricey.  But this polish comes at a price I liked…FREE!

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Ruby Rush is a gorgeous deep, deep ruby red.  I L-O-V-E this color and if you have been following The Kracked Kat from the beginning you know that reds and I do not get along.This read made me feel, dare I say it, sexy with a touch of naughty thrown in for good measure.

The brush was flat with the rounded tip that is signature Sally Hansen.  I like the signature applicator brush.  It fits my nails and I can get good coverage on my nails with less brushing.  I can see where one with smaller nails might have some difficulty with application.  I easily applied two thin coats but could have passed with one heavier coat.

Because I know that reds can be tricky when removing them from your nails I made sure to soak the polish off using a foil wrap.  This minimized the bleed tremendously.

I will definitely be wearing Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Ruby Rush again!
